The Value Added Tax, or VAT, is a general, broadly based consumption tax assessed on the value added to goods and services. It applies more or less to all goods and services that are bought and sold for use or consumption in the European Union. Thus, goods which are sold for export or services which are sold to customers abroad are normally not subject to VAT.

The VAT on order module automatically defines for which orders VAT should be applied.

Using this module you can disable taxation for orders if customs number (EORI) is specified.

An Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI) is a European Union registration and identification number for businesses which undertake the import or export of goods into or out of the EU.

Also, there is an option to define the customs number of no Tax Countries. We use ISO-2 country codes: BE, BG and so on.

Thus, you don’t have to think much about which order VAT should be applied to, entrust this work to our VAT on order module.
